01 · Our Own ASM Mining Operations
Our own operations are where our standards get tested first, before we ever advise someone else on theirs.
Environmental stewardship
We employ methods designed to minimise ecological impact and regenerate mined landscapes: restoration, water protection and biodiversity preservation built into every project. We measure and report our footprint so it can actually be managed, site by site.
Community and women’s participation
We work directly with local communities on shared growth: education, fair income and empowerment, with particular focus on women’s participation in mining regions. Local leaders and families are involved at every step, building social systems that outlast any single project.
Why we still operate
Every part of our advisory work, for ASM operators, large-scale miners, investors, buyers and traders, is grounded in the fact that we run a site ourselves. That keeps our recommendations realistic: we know what a given standard actually costs to reach, and how long it takes, because we’ve reached it ourselves.
Frontier market context
Operating in Sub-Saharan Africa means building standards that hold up under conditions many international frameworks don’t account for: infrastructure gaps, informal land tenure, and supply chains that run through several intermediaries before reaching a formal buyer.
